CYPRUS
Cyprus is an island, located in the South Eastern Mediterranean and a member of the European Union. Its 10,000 years of history make it a fascinating place to visit. Its geography comprising of plains, beaches and mountains, and its Mediterranean climate, make it an all- year- round attractive destination. Cyprus has 6 cities: Nicosia, Limassol, Paphos, Larnaca, Famagusta and Kyrenia (the last two are under Turkish occupation). All cities have excellent tourism infrastructure and beaches for all year holidays. In the winter, the Troodos Mountains is excellent for hiking and sometimes even for skiing.

NICOSIA
Nicosia is the capital of Cyprus. It is a modern european city with a rich history going back to the Bronze Age. The Venetian walls, a main attraction of the city, divide Nicosia into the old and the new part and give it a nostalgic air. The old city is bursting with churches and historic sites. Nicosia is centrally located, and easily accessible from other cities for daily tours.
